Executive Team

Official business of the The Foursquare Church is conducted by the president, the board of directors, the Foursquare cabinet and the Foursquare executive council, collectively considered the Foursquare Executive Team.

Glenn Burris Jr.
President, The Foursquare Church

According to the bylaws, the president is elected for a five-year term and may be re-elected for an additional five-year term. The president is the "pastor" of the denomination, giving spiritual and administrative oversight.

In 2009, Glenn Burris Jr. began as interim president for a 13-month term and began serving a five-year term on Oct. 1, 2010. In May 2014, Glenn began his service as president for a second five-year term, ending August 31, 2020.

Randy Remington
President-Elect, The Foursquare Church

Randy Remington is president-elect of The Foursquare Church. He will shadow current President Glenn Burris Jr. for one year prior to taking office Sept. 1, 2020.

Formerly the lead pastor of Beaverton Foursquare Church in Beaverton, Ore., Randy has more than 30 years of ministry experience. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Life Pacific University.

Adam Davidson
Vice President of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Secretary; The Foursquare Church

The chief operating officer of The Foursquare Church plays a key leadership role in aligning and orchestrating the efforts of the organization to achieve its vision and mission through effective, efficient and ethical management of the central office operations.

A member of The Foursquare Church since 1975, Adam Davidson has served in many leadership roles, including church planter, district administrator, camp director, national church administrator, executive pastor and, most recently, director of operations.

Tammy Dunahoo
Vice President of U.S. Operations, General Supervisor; The Foursquare Church

In her role of general supervisor, Tammy Dunahoo is in direct charge of the the activities of district supervisors, as well as and devoted to the health and growth of Foursquare churches throughout the districts in all 50 states. She has served in this role since 2009.

Through her engagement in the implementation of the Reimagine Foursquare process, there has been a net increase in churches and congregations through multi-site campuses, ethnic congregations, church plants, chaplain congregations and creative expressions of faith communities.

Tammy currently serves on the Foursquare board of directors, cabinet, numerous committees and additionally on the board of trustees of Life Pacific College.

Ron Thigpenn
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer; The Foursquare Church

Ron Thigpen brings a wealth of experience to the table in his service as chief financial officer, a position he was appointed to in Jan. 2010 after many years in the financial sector.

In his role as chief financial officer, Ron is responsible for overseeing financial transactions on behalf of the organization, and working with the board to report financial operations. For more on the roles of vice president, treasurer and more, see the Corporate Bylaws.

Ron currently serves on the Foursquare board of directors as a member of the Executive Committee, Finance Committee (chairman) and Investment Committee.

Ted Vail
Vice President of Global Operations; Director of Foursquare Missions International (FMI)

As vice president of global operations, Ted Vail, D.I.S., carries the corporate role of vice president of The Foursquare Church. He interfaces with the Foursquare Global Council, missions and church movements of Foursquare in other nations, and engages our movement with collaborative global projects on behalf of The Foursquare Church.

In expressing our value of interdenominational worldwide evangelism, Ted is developing and strengthening partnerships with missions agencies and denominations. Global operations, therefore, involves the ministries, relationships and expansion endeavors of The Foursquare Church both inside and outside the U.S.
